What is a pink card? Why is it called a pink card?<\/b><\/h1>\n
\u201cPink card\u201d <\/b>This type of card is pink in color, hence it is commonly known as the \u201cPink Card.\u201d Its official name is the Non-Thai National ID Card. It is an identification document issued by the Thai government to migrant workers of three nationalities Myanmar, Lao PDR, and Cambodia who are legally employed in Thailand under the MOU system or have registered under government policies for temporary residence and employment. The Ministry of Interior is the authority responsible for issuing this card.<\/span>Having been registered and undergone the nationality verification process in accordance with the Cabinet resolution proposed by the Department of Employment. <\/span>\u00a0In general, the Pink Card is used to identify the identity and legal status of workers who have not yet obtained Thai nationality and is usually used together with a Work Permit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How many years can a pink card be used for before it expires?<\/b><\/h2>\n
